- OCT-A provides a high-resolution view of the retinal vasculature not possible with FA
- OCT-A can rule in or out CNV in cases where FA and regular OCT images are ambiguous
- OCT subretinal hyperreflective material can represent CNV
- OCT-A can visualize vascular nonperfusion in fine detail for prognosis and monitoring of disease
