Retina Consultants of Colorado, P.C. consists of our physician and an outstanding group of staff members specializing in the treatment of diseases of the retina, vitreous and macula. We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of all types of retina, vitreous, and macula disorders, and we enjoy an excellent reputation for providing the latest in treatment techniques and technology. We constantly seek to offer the most advanced levels in approved treatments to our patients. Our abiding principal commitment is delivery of the best patient care. We understand the special challenges of living with retinal problems and do everything possible to alleviate these. We collaborate very closely with both your primary eye care provider and your family doctor throughout your treatment. Our staff and physician are available at any time should a question or concern arise.
 Curtis Hagedorn, M.D.Dr. Hagedorn grew up in Colorado Springs and received his BA at Colorado College. He then went on to Rush Medical College in Chicago where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. He completed both ophthalmology residency and vitreo-retinal fellowship at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. While at Yale, Dr Hagedorn received the Marvin Sears Award for Clinical Excellence. Dr Hagedorn has special interest and training in Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). He has been a co-investigator in clinical trials for many new medicines including Macugen©, Lucentis©, and Retaane©. Dr Hagedorn plays guitar, supports the Denver Broncos, builds creative video, and occasionally snowboards. |
